Some time ago we bought bunk beds for the boys. At the time we just built one of the bunks as we already had one bed in the room. We said when Alex was three we would build the rest.
We’re all going to the zoo, you can come too!
I went on a school trip today with Daniel. I had to take him and the Allens to school then drop Alex off at nursery and then rush back to the school for the health & safety talk before getting on the coach. Time was tight so it was a bit of a rush. The weather was not great, I got soaked dropping Alex off and to top it all off I managed to lock myself out of the house so I couldn’t get changed. It meant I couldn’t lock my bike up either so I had to hide it in the garden behind the bins.
The big 3
It was Alex’s 3rd birthday on Thursday. Jen and I took the day off work to celebrate. We went to the zoo along with Auntie Katie and Granny Val. Later on we had cake and candles.
The big 40 … Again!
Still not me – this time it was one of my oldest friends John Williams. He had a birthday bash round his flat. Popping back to Bridgend seems the in thing at the moment and like the others it’s been good to catch up with some of the old crew.
The big 40
Not me – it’s my turn later on in the year, but my old friend Mark Davies (aka Noddy – Mark picked up the nickname Noddy in school when Craig Organ remarked that he thought his ears were big – like Big Ears in Noddy). I haven’t seen him in bloody ages. I can’t remember the last time – all I know is that since we last met he’s had four children!
